On Friday I heard some devastating news. I dont wanna post details, but most of you know what it is. Its gonna be tough, but in the end its gonna be alright. I refuse to believe otherwise.

I got up at 7 this morning to go to Schiphol! Its always fun being there, almost like its a culture of its own. My mom had a safe flight to Zagreb and from there she went to Split. It was kinda weird to say goodbye, the next time I’ll see her will be in March or April. Im gonna miss her.

Work starts tomorrow and I’m really excited! After all these (holi)days its time to get back in the rhythm that makes me get up at 6 am every morning. Only four weeks left and then my internship ends, which kinda makes me sad I got so attached to the kids and that’s probably the hardest part.

I can’t believe that its already January, time goes by so fast! A new year with new dreams and goals.

But first things first, my mom is going to Croatia on Sunday (oh mom I really wish I could go too!) She is going to stay a couple of months to finish some paperwork about their building permits.
