Nou speciaal voor mn vaste crew.. hier een update. Hmm.. ik ben véél aan het werk. Soms heb ik het idee dat ik meer op Schiphol leef =) Gelukkig heb ik superleuke collega’s en ééntje is mn liefje Lesley. We hebben altijd wel fun als we samen een shift hebben.. of niet> chercher la petite bête!! Vandaag even een voordringende (is dat een bestaand woord?) foreigner afgestraft bij Food Village. ‘Excuse me.. I was first in line’.. ‘Are you sure..?’ ‘Yea I’m sure, so excuse me. Tháánnk you’. Ach je had erbij moeten zijn. Mn vluchten vandaag waren wel oke.. Vanmorgen Johannesburg, daarna Washington op D43 (ver-schrik-kelijk-e gate) en als laatste Tokyo.. Ik mag me over 40 uur weer melden, dus ik ga nu lekker niks doen! x voor moksiemetie =)

De F16’s van de luchtmachtbasis in Leeuwarden waren op weg naar Zeeland omdat de luchtverkeersleiding daar geen contact kon maken met een vliegtuig. Doordat de F16’s harder dan 1000 kilometer per uur vlogen en dus door de geluidsbarrière gingen, ontstond er een zogenaamde sonic boom. In gewone situaties wordt boven Nederland niet zo snel gevlogen.

De zware knal die boven Almere ontstond, was in een groot deel van Nederland te horen. De politie Flevoland liet weten dat ze ‘talloze’ telefoontjes van verontruste burgers heeft gekregen. In Almere zijn zelfs ruiten gesneuveld. Zelfs in Rotterdam was de dreun te horen.

Het onbekende toestel bleek een helikopter te zijn die was opgestegen van Lelystad Airport. Het lukte de piloot niet om radiocontact te maken, waarna het protocol in werking trad. De helikopter is later geland in Bergen op Zoom. De piloot kon toen wel contact leggen.

Ik dacht even dat Almere werd weggevaagd van de kaart, het klonk echt als een zware explosie. Maar bij ons zitten de ramen er gelukkig nog in.

Okay, an “I owe you” on the subject health care in the United States of America. I’ve seen the new movie by Michael Moore, “Sicko”. If you haven’t seen it yet, what you’re waiting for? This movie shows the important issues that are threatening health care in America. It’s very hard to watch -very unbelievable- especially when you live in a country that doesn’t come across this huge problems with health care. Don’t you think it’s rather shocking that the World Health Organisation ranked the United States of America on the 37th spot on their list??

Now that I work for KLM, I realise how rare it is to wear your casual clothes.. uughh. A suit everyday gets pretty boring and I miss it to just go casual. Last week grocery shopping-evidence..

Hmmmm.. I’m not a fan of that enfant terriblé Tom Brady.. Why did the Colts lose on Sunday? I guess they are just nót as lucky as the Patriots. The last few minutes were kinda painful to watch. Uuugh, what a bad football weekend. Well, at least the Packers won.
